Brown vs. topeka board of education:
In 1950 the Browns took action of the separate but equal circumstances. Since it was constitutional to separate the blacks and whites, children were not allowed to go to schools of a different race. Little Linda Brown was looking for an education. She was admitted to a school that was 20 blocks away from her home. She was not allowed to go to a school that was 4 blocks away form her because it was an all white school. Her father tried to admit her in the all white school but failed. The Advancement of Colored People fought for her education and for all the other children who were colored. The case was then passed 2 years later. The 14th Amendment was violated which states that no child would be denied education in any specific school due to race. With this taken place the separation but equal rights were taken out and everyone was made one.
